Switch Between Different Aspect Ratios

Open Rescale Settings

Access the mod's main settings menu from your pause screen. Locate the aspect ratio selection area where your current scaling mode is displayed.

Choose Your Preferred Ratio

Select from available options: your native aspect ratio (usually 16:9 or 16:10), stretched 4:3, or stretched 5:4. Each option changes how wide or narrow your view appears.

Apply and Test

Confirm your selection and return to gameplay. Your screen will immediately update to the new aspect ratio. Test by observing how other players and mobs appear—stretched ratios make them wider, while native ratios show them normally.

Readjust Hand Position if Needed

If you switch to a different aspect ratio, your previously positioned items may look misaligned again. Press Insert to reopen the hand editor and adjust your item positions for the new screen shape using Ctrl + Arrow Keys.

You can switch between ratios as often as you like—each change applies instantly without restarting your game.
