Adjust Your Hand and Item Position in First Person

Open the Live Hand Editor

While in-game, press the Insert key to open the hand editor tool. This allows you to reposition your handheld items and hands in real-time without leaving your game world.

Move Your Items Using Arrow Keys

Hold Ctrl and press the arrow keys to adjust your item's position. Press Up or Down to move vertically, and Left or Right to move horizontally. Your item will shift on screen, allowing you to customize where your sword, pickaxe, or other tools appear in your view.

Speed Up Adjustments with Shift

For faster repositioning, hold Shift while pressing arrow keys. This increases the movement speed, letting you make larger adjustments quickly.

Fine-Tune Until Satisfied

Keep adjusting until your items fit comfortably in your stretched aspect ratio view. Once positioned correctly, close the editor and your settings will be saved. Your items will maintain these positions whenever you play with the same aspect ratio setting.
