How to Change Which Items Can Reset a Trial Vault (Item Tag)
Find the Reset Item Tag
This mod decides what counts as a valid reset item through an item tag rather than a hardcoded list. That means you can add or remove items by editing the tag through a datapack. The tag lives in the mod's data namespace, so create a datapack folder structure that mirrors the mod's tags/items path and reference the same tag ID the mod uses for vault resets.
Add or Remove Items
Inside your datapack's tag JSON, list the item IDs you want to allow as reset items under values. Anything you add here will be accepted when used on an opened vault. Anything you leave out will be rejected. This lets you, for example, restrict resets to only trial keys, or allow a custom key item from another mod to reset vaults too.
Test and Reload
After saving the datapack, run the reload command so the game picks up the tag changes without a restart. Then use one of your newly allowed items on an opened vault to confirm it resets. If it does not, double-check that the tag path and ID match exactly what the mod expects, since a mismatched namespace or path silently does nothing.
Remember this only changes what can reset a vault, not how the reset itself works.
