Once you've located a repair workshop with an anvil, a Repairsmith villager should be present or will spawn there. If the workshop exists but no Repairsmith is present, the structure may need time to generate its inhabitant, or you may need to ensure proper village conditions are met.

Consider building your base near a village with a repair workshop, or explore multiple villages to find one. Having a Repairsmith nearby makes maintaining your equipment convenient during gameplay.
