How do I repair an anvil?
Right-click a damaged anvil while holding an iron ingot. Each ingot restores the anvil by one condition level. Repeat until the anvil is fully repaired.
Can I repair an anvil that's completely broken?
Yes, you can repair anvils at any damage stage. Keep using iron ingots until the anvil returns to full condition and stops showing damage.
How many iron ingots does it take to fully repair an anvil?
This depends on how damaged the anvil is when you start repairing it. Each ingot fixes one level of damage, so a heavily damaged anvil will need more ingots than a slightly chipped one.
Do I need to place the anvil on a specific block to repair it?
No, you can repair an anvil anywhere it's placed. Just make sure you have iron ingots in your inventory and right-click the damaged anvil.
What happens if I run out of iron ingots mid-repair?
The anvil stays at whatever damage level it was at when you stopped repairing. You can continue repairing it later by getting more iron ingots and right-clicking again.
Can I repair an anvil while it's being used for crafting?
