Remove Mouseover Highlight Mod Guide
Removing the Block Outline
The Remove Mouseover
Highlight Mod does one thing: it stops Minecraft from drawing the block outline that normally appears when you point your cursor at a block. That thin black border around the targeted block is gone, leaving only the block itself.
Because the mod only changes this visual element, no items, recipes, or controls are added. Once installed, the change is automatic and applies whenever you look at a block. There is nothing to configure or toggle in-game.
The effect is subtle at first. The block outline is such a familiar part of Minecraft that you may briefly feel like something is missing. After a short adjustment period, the game looks cleaner and less
cluttered, and many players find it more immersive and natural without the constant highlighting.
If you ever want the outline back, simply remove the mod. Otherwise, it stays out of the way and lets you focus on the world itself.
