Replace Blocks Only in Specific Biomes or Dimensions
Biome and Dimension Filtering
Reliable Replacer lets you target replacements to specific biomes or dimensions, so you can have different rules for different areas of your world.
Steps
1. Open or create a JSON file in config/reliable_replacer.
2. Add a replacement rule and include a filter that specifies:
- The biome name (for example, desert, forest, or ocean biomes)
- Or the dimension (Overworld, Nether, End)
3. Save the file and run /reload.
4. The mod will only swap blocks in the locations you specified.
Tips
- Biome filtering is useful for creating region-specific ores or themed landscapes.
- Dimension filtering helps you customize each dimension separately—for instance, replacing blocks differently in the Nether than the Overworld.
- You can combine multiple filters in one rule for precise control.
- Check your world's biome and dimension names to ensure they match your filter settings.
