How to Craft a Reinforced Shulker Box from Scratch

Gather the Base Materials

Before you can build any tier of Reinforced Shulker Box, you need two things: a Reinforced Chest of the matching material and a Shulker Shell. Reinforced Chests are the mod's own upgraded storage blocks, so check the Reinforced Chests recipes first — you will need the corresponding metal (copper, iron, gold, or diamond) plus wood planks. Shulker Shells come from killing Shulkers in End Cities, so a trip to the End is mandatory unless you already have a stockpile.

Combine Chest and Shell

Place the Reinforced Chest and the Shulker Shell together in a crafting grid. The exact arrangement mirrors the vanilla Shulker Box recipe pattern, but the chest slot must be filled with the *Reinforced* variant, not a plain chest. The output is a Reinforced Shulker Box of that tier.

Plan Your Progression

Tiers go Copper → Iron → Gold → Diamond → Netherite. Each step up uses the previous tier's box as an ingredient alongside the next metal, so decide early how far you want to go. If you only need a little extra space, Copper or Iron is cheap. If you want the explosion-proof Netherite version, commit to the full chain — you cannot skip tiers.
