How do I make my first reinforced shulker box?
Craft a Reinforced Chest of the tier you want, then combine it with Shulker Shells to turn it into a Reinforced Shulker Box. The copper tier is the cheapest starting point, so begin there if you're low on materials.
What's the difference between the copper, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite tiers?
Each tier up increases both the number of storage slots and the box's durability. Netherite is the top tier and is also the only one that resists explosions, fire, and lava.
How do I upgrade a reinforced shulker box to the next tier?
Upgrades follow the progression Copper → Iron → Gold → Diamond → Netherite, and each step combines your existing box with the materials for the next tier. The Netherite upgrade is done at a Smithing Table using a Netherite Ingot instead of a crafting grid.
Can I skip tiers and go straight to netherite?
No, the upgrades are a linear progression, so you have to pass through each tier in order. Plan your material gathering around the full chain rather than jumping ahead.
How many slots does each tier actually hold?
The mod's tiers go up to 45, 54, 81, and 108 slots depending on the tier. Higher tiers hold more, so check the tier you're crafting before assuming a specific number.
How do I dye my reinforced shulker box?
Combine the box with a dye the same way you'd dye a vanilla shulker box. The color is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect storage or durability.
How do I change the screen layout of my shulker box?
Open the box's interface and switch the screen type between SINGLE and SCROLL views. SCROLL view lets you adjust the visible rows between 6 and 9 for easier navigation of large inventories.
Why does my netherite shulker box survive lava but my diamond one doesn't?
Only the Netherite tier is resistant to explosions, fire, and lava. Lower tiers will still be destroyed by those hazards, so keep them out of lava and blast zones.
Can I put a reinforced shulker box inside another one?
Shulker boxes can't be nested inside each other, and that restriction applies to reinforced versions too. Use them side by side or in separate storage areas instead.
Does this mod work with other storage or inventory mods?
It's designed around vanilla materials and mechanics, so it generally plays nicely with mods that don't replace shulker box behavior. If another mod overrides shulker box screens or recipes, expect conflicts there.
