Using the Mixin Mod with EnderIO Conduits and Other Add-ons
Compatibility Notes
Refined Storage Mixin Mod is designed to sit between Refined Storage and the rest of your modpack. It fixes wire connection bugs that appear when EnderIO conduits connect to Refined Storage cables, especially around chunk unloads.
Steps for a Stable Setup
1. Install Refined Storage first, then the Mixin Mod, then any other Refined Storage add-ons.
2. If you use EnderIO, make sure both mods are present on client and server. The wire fix is server-authoritative.
3. Do not run two different "performance fix" mods for Refined Storage at the same time. They will fight over the same block update hooks and can cause crashes or missing connections.
4. If cables stop connecting after adding another add-on, remove that add-on temporarily and reload. If connections return, you have a conflict.
5. Check your log for mixin errors after adding or removing add-ons. A failed mixin usually means two mods are patching the same class.
When to Disable Features
If a specific feature (like lazy energy) causes problems with another mod's power system, you can disable just that feature in config instead of removing the whole mod. The lag fixes for block updates and chunk unloading are the core features and should stay on.
