How do I start the Minecraft tab progression?
The root advancement for the Minecraft tab is now granted automatically when you enter a world, so you don't need to collect wood first. From there, follow the new parent advancement structure which guides you through creating a crafting table, obtaining ender pearls, and reaching the major milestones like diamond pickaxes and the Ender Dragon.
What's the difference between regular advancements and challenge advancements?
Challenge advancements are optional, harder objectives that reward skilled players—like performing a bucket clutch from 60 blocks high or killing 10 mobs with elytra without touching the ground. Regular advancements follow the main progression path and are part of the standard advancement tabs.
Do I need to do the new advancements to progress?
No, the new advancements are optional additions that expand the progression system. You can complete the standard Minecraft tab without touching them, but they offer extra goals and exploration incentives.
Why is there a new Combat tab?
The mod reorganized advancements by moving all combat-related objectives from the Adventure tab into their own dedicated Combat tab, making it easier to track combat progression separately.
How do I see hidden advancement descriptions?
Hidden advancement descriptions now display in aqua text when you hover over them, making them visible without spoiling the advancement itself. Additionally, the Allay and Sniffer advancements are no longer hidden, so you can see their descriptions normally.
Can multiple players get the Ender Dragon advancement at once?
Yes, when one player kills the Ender Dragon, all players within 128 blocks of that player also receive the advancement, making it easier for groups to progress together.
What does the Home advancement require?
The Home advancement requires you to ride a mount for a journey of 5,000 blocks and then travel back to within 64 blocks of your bed, rewarding exploration and return trips.
Are there advancements for collecting all materials?
Yes, there are advancements for obtaining all overworld ores, all wool colors, and all wood log types, encouraging complete resource gathering.
Does this mod change vanilla advancement recipes or mechanics?
The mod reorganizes advancement parents and adds new ones, but doesn't change how you actually craft items or complete tasks in the game—only how advancements are structured and unlocked.
What's the bucket clutch advancement?
There's a basic bucket clutch advancement for performing the mechanic, and a challenge version that requires you to bucket clutch from 60 blocks high, testing your timing and precision.
