Record Days Survived Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I start tracking my survival days?
The mod automatically begins tracking when you create or enter a world—no setup needed. Your day counter starts at 1 and increases each time the sun rises.
What happens to my counter when I die?
When you die, the mod displays how many days you survived, and your streak resets to 0. Your previous record is saved and can be viewed with /record_day report.
How do I check my current streak and best record?
Use the command /record_day report in chat to see both your current consecutive days survived and your all-time record for that world.
Does the counter pause when I'm offline or in a different dimension?
The counter only advances when you're actively in the world and a new day occurs; time spent offline does not count toward your streak.
Can I reset my record manually?
The mod does not provide a built-in command to reset records—your record persists with your world save unless you delete the world data.
Does this mod work in multiplayer?
The mod tracks survival per player in multiplayer worlds, so each player maintains their own individual streak and record.
What if I respawn after dying—does my streak continue?
No; any death ends your streak immediately and displays your final day count, even if you respawn in the same world.
Does the mod work with other mods that change day/night cycles?
The mod tracks days based on sunrise events, so compatibility depends on whether other mods properly trigger those events; test in your modpack to confirm.
Can I see my record in different worlds or is it per-world only?
Records are saved per world, so each world you play in has its own separate survival streak and best record.
Does the mod affect performance or server lag?
Record Days Survived Mod is lightweight and does not significantly impact performance, as it only tracks day cycles and stores simple numeric data.
