Repair Broken Chain Networks Without Rebuilding

Leveraging Auto-Reconnection for Repairs

Instead of manually replacing entire chain segments when damage occurs, Reconnectible Chains Mod allows you to simply replace the broken anchor block and let chains reattach automatically.

Repair Workflow

Identify the broken connection: Look for chains that have fallen or disconnected from their intended blocks.

Replace the anchor block: Place a new solid block where the original attachment point was. Nearby chains will automatically detect and reconnect to it.

Check adjacent blocks: If chains don't reconnect immediately, ensure there are solid blocks within reasonable proximity. Chains prioritize the nearest available surface.

Rebuild only what's necessary: You don't need to recreate entire chain runs—just restore the key anchor points and let the mod handle reconnection.

Practical Example

If a chandelier's support beam gets destroyed, simply rebuild that beam block. All chains that were attached will automatically reconnect without manual intervention. This saves significant time on large decorative structures or functional chain systems.
