Applying Recolourful Containers to Your HUD Without Breaking Other Overlays
This pack covers HUD elements as well as container menus, which means it can collide with other packs that touch the hotbar, health, hunger, or status bars. Getting a clean result is about deciding which pack owns which element.
Decide what each pack should control
List the HUD packs you use. If one of them is a full HUD replacement, it will fight Recolourful Containers for the same textures. Pick one to be the primary HUD source and place it accordingly in Options, then Resource Packs. The pack higher in the Selected column wins wherever both edit the same file.
Order for a themed HUD with container colors
If you want Recolourful Containers to drive the container menus but keep a separate pack for bars and icons, put the other pack above Recolourful Containers so it takes the HUD slots, and let Recolourful Containers fill in the container screens underneath. If you want Recolourful Containers to own everything it touches, put it on top instead.
Verify in-game
Enter a world and check the hotbar, status bars, and a couple of containers side by side. Adjust the order one step at a time and re-check, since a single misplaced pack can make the HUD look half-themed.
