Enable or Disable Leaf and Plant Swaying

Access Animation Settings

Open the RealisticRemake Shaders settings menu in-game. Look for a section labeled animation, foliage, or dynamic effects.

Find Leaf Movement Controls

Locate the leaf sway or wind animation toggle. This controls whether trees, tall grass, and other plants gently move in the wind.

Customize Sway Behavior

  • Toggle Sway On/Off: Enable this to see leaves and plants animate, or disable it if you prefer a static environment
  • Sway Speed: If available, adjust how fast the leaves move—faster speeds create more noticeable wind effects
  • Sway Intensity: Control how far leaves bend and move from their original position

Performance Considerations

Leaf swaying adds minimal performance impact on most systems, but if you're experiencing frame rate drops, disabling this feature is a quick way to improve performance. The animation is purely visual and doesn't affect gameplay mechanics. Test the effect in forests or gardens where it's most visible, then adjust to your preference for immersion versus performance.
