Adjust God Rays Intensity and Appearance
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader menu key (typically found in your controls settings). Look for the RealisticRemake Shaders profile in your shader list.
Customize God Ray Effects
Within the shader settings, locate the lighting or atmospheric effects section. Here you'll find sliders and toggles for:
- God Ray Strength: Increase this value to make sunlight beams more prominent, or decrease it for subtler rays that don't overwhelm your view
- Ray Density: Controls how thick and visible the light beams appear when shining through clouds and foliage
- Scattering Distance: Adjusts how far the god rays extend across your sky
Fine-Tune for Your Preference
Make small adjustments and observe the changes in real-time. God rays are most visible during midday when the sun is high, and near clouds or dense forests. If you find them too distracting during gameplay, reduce the intensity. For a more dramatic fantasy atmosphere, increase both strength and density. Test your settings in different biomes and times of day to ensure they work well across your world.
