Build Secret Bases Without Name Tag Exposure

Design Your Base Layout

When constructing a secret base, use solid block walls strategically so that players entering from outside cannot see name tags of people working inside.

Steps:

1. Build your main base interior with thick walls of solid blocks (at least one block deep)

2. Create entrance tunnels or airlocks with solid block ceilings to prevent name tags from being visible from outside

3. Avoid large open windows or transparent sections facing outward

4. Position crafting and storage areas deep inside where name tags won't be visible through walls

Transparent Block Placement

Use glass, water, or other transparent blocks for interior lighting and aesthetics without compromising secrecy. Name tags will still show through these, but only to players who can already see inside your base.

Tip: Combine solid blocks with transparent ones—use solid stone walls on the exterior and glass windows on the interior. This keeps name tags hidden from outside observers while maintaining visibility for base inhabitants.
