Clean Dungeons and Caves Efficiently

Preparation

Before clearing a large area, gather supplies:

1. Bring multiple torches (they don't degrade, making them ideal)

2. Alternatively, bring flint and steel if you prefer

3. Consider bringing a pickaxe for other blocks

4. Bring lighting to work safely

Systematic Clearing

1. Enter the structure methodically, room by room

2. Look up at ceilings and down at floors—cobwebs hide everywhere

3. Right-click each cobweb with your torch

4. Work from one end to the other to avoid missing areas

5. Pay special attention to corners, doorways, and alcoves

Safety Tips

Cobwebs often indicate dangerous areas. Slow movement makes you vulnerable to mobs, so:

• Clear cobwebs before exploring deeper
• Keep your torch equipped for both clearing and visibility
• Listen for mob sounds and be ready to retreat
• Consider clearing during daytime or with good lighting

Once cleared, you'll move freely through the structure and can safely gather resources or convert the space into your own base.
