Customizing Glass and Window Appearance

Install the Artifacts Glass File

Realis Craft includes an optional Artifacts Glass file that changes how all glass blocks and panes render. This file modifies the visual properties of transparent blocks to match the realistic aesthetic of the rest of the pack.

Apply the Glass Variant

To use the Artifacts Glass file, add it to your resource pack folder alongside the main Realis Craft files. The game will automatically apply the new glass textures and properties when you load a world. You can toggle between the standard and Artifacts versions by enabling or disabling the file.

Observe the Differences

With Artifacts Glass enabled, windows and glass blocks will display enhanced reflections and refraction when paired with your shader pack. The glass will interact more realistically with light, showing specular highlights and proper transparency. Test the effect in different lighting conditions—bright sunlight, sunset, and night—to see how the realistic glass responds to the environment.
