Recolor a Dyed Glass Block to a Different Color

Basic Recoloring Process

Once you've dyed a glass block and want to change it to a new color, you don't need to break it and start over. Simply place the colored glass block in a crafting recipe with a new dye of your choice.

Steps

1. Gather your already-dyed glass block and the new dye color you want to apply

2. Open your crafting table

3. Place the colored glass block in the grid along with the new dye

4. Craft the recipe — the glass will now display the new dye color

5. Place the recolored glass back into your structure

Key Point

The mod treats all colored glass blocks as interchangeable in recipes, so it doesn't matter what color your glass currently is. You can recolor from red to blue, blue to green, or any combination without penalty. This makes it easy to experiment with color schemes or fix mistakes without wasting resources.
