Combine Materials for Flexibility

You don't need to build your entire beacon base from raw gold. The mod allows you to mix raw gold blocks with other beacon-compatible materials like iron, gold, and netherite blocks in the same pyramid structure.

Building a Mixed Pyramid

1. Use raw gold blocks for some layers and standard materials for others

2. Arrange them however you prefer—the beacon counts all compatible blocks toward its power level

3. Complete your pyramid structure with any combination

4. Place the beacon on top to activate

Strategic Advantages

Mixing materials is useful when you have limited raw gold or want to preserve it for beacon fuel. You can use raw gold blocks where convenient and fill remaining pyramid space with iron or other materials you have in abundance. This flexibility makes beacon construction more accessible early in your playthrough.
