Build Your First Raw Gold Beacon Base

Gather Raw Gold Blocks

Mine raw gold ore with a pickaxe and smelt or use raw gold blocks directly. You'll need multiple raw gold blocks to construct a pyramid base—the mod allows raw gold blocks to function identically to iron, gold, or netherite blocks for beacon base construction.

Construct the Pyramid

Beacon bases require a pyramid structure:

1. Place a 3×3 layer of raw gold blocks as your foundation

2. Stack a 3×3 layer on top (offset by one block on each side, creating a stepped pyramid)

3. Add a 1×1 layer at the top

4. Place your beacon block on the very top

The beacon will activate automatically once the pyramid is complete. Raw gold blocks count toward the pyramid's power level just like standard beacon materials.

Activate Effects

Once active, right-click the beacon to open its interface. Select from available effects based on your pyramid's height. The more layers you build, the more effect options unlock.
