Set Up Custom Train Sounds for Your Route

Assign Sounds to Specific Lines

The Tung Chung Line livery includes custom BVE train sounds built in. When you spawn a Tung Chung Line train set on your route, the audio automatically activates—no separate configuration needed.

Use Sounds for Route Identity

Custom audio helps players distinguish between different metro lines. If you're building multiple routes, use the Tung Chung Line with its audio on one line, and other liveries (Urban or Airport Express) on separate lines. This creates an immersive experience where each route feels distinct.

Test Audio During Gameplay

Spawn a Tung Chung Line train and ride it to verify the sounds play correctly during acceleration, cruising, and braking. Audio should trigger automatically when the train is in motion. If sounds don't play, ensure your resource pack is properly loaded in your world settings.

Mix Liveries Without Audio Conflicts

You can run multiple Q-Train liveries on the same world without audio issues—only Tung Chung Line trains produce the custom sounds, keeping your soundscape organized.
