Match Baggage Car Size to Your Fleet

The Airport Express baggage car is available in normal, small, and mini sizes. Select the size that matches your passenger train cars—mixing sizes looks unrealistic and may cause coupling issues.

Build a Dedicated Cargo Consist

Create a separate train set using only baggage cars for freight operations, or attach one or two baggage cars to the end of a passenger consist for realistic mixed service. The baggage cars use the same Airport Express livery as the passenger cars, maintaining visual consistency.

Position Baggage Cars at Stations

Designate a cargo platform or siding separate from passenger platforms. Spawn your baggage car consist there and use the transit mod's scheduling system to run them on a regular timetable, simulating realistic airport ground operations.

Connect to Airport Terminals

If you've built an airport, run Airport Express passenger trains to the terminal with baggage cars attached or following behind. This creates an authentic airport rail experience where luggage and passengers move together.
