Build a Realistic Metro Line with Q-Train Liveries
Choose Your Line Style
Decide which livery matches your metro aesthetic. The Urban line works well for generic city networks, while Tung Chung Line suits Asian-inspired builds. Airport Express is ideal if you're connecting an airport terminal to your main station.
Plan Your Track Layout
Lay down your railway tracks using the Minecraft Transit Railway mod's track system. Consider platform length—Q-Train comes in normal, small, and mini sizes, so measure your station platforms before finalizing track placement. Longer platforms accommodate normal-sized trains, while smaller stations work better with mini variants.
Spawn and Configure Train Sets
Use the mod's train spawning mechanics to place your chosen Q-Train livery on the tracks. If using Tung Chung Line, the custom line audio will automatically apply to that route. For mixed consists, you can combine passenger cars with baggage cars (available in matching sizes) to create realistic service patterns.
Customize Interior Details
The resource pack includes updated passenger cabin interiors with blue and yellow seating. These interiors are pre-configured for each model size, so no additional customization is needed—just spawn the train and the detailed seating will appear automatically.
