10 questions players actually ask, answered.

What does the Ranged Pump do?
It pumps liquids in a range, scanning one block below the pump and down to bedrock. It can collect water, lava, and fluids added by other mods.
How do I stop the pump from working?
Give the pump a redstone signal and it will stop working until you disable the signal.
Does the Ranged Pump need energy?
By default it requires Forge Energy, but you can configure it to use no energy in the config.
How much fluid can the pump hold?
Its internal tank holds 32 buckets by default, and you can increase or decrease this in the config. The pump stops running if the internal tank is full.
How far does the Ranged Pump reach?
The default range is 64 blocks in any direction, scanned nearest-first in a rectangular spiral. Vertically it scans from the pump down to bedrock.
Does the pump leave holes in the ground?
By default it replaces any liquids it removes with stone, which can be turned off in the config.
How do I get the liquids out of the pump?
The pump auto-pushes liquids to neighboring tanks, and you can also get the liquids out with pipes.
How do I check what the pump is doing?
Right-click the pump to see its current status, like whether it is running or full.
Does the Ranged Pump chunkload?
No, the mod doesn't chunkload pumps automatically. You'll need another mod to get this behavior.
