How to Get a Specific Shulker Colour for a Build or Display

Understand that colour is random per spawn

This mod does not add a colour picker, a dye recipe, or a naming trick. Every newly spawned Shulker rolls its shell colour from the mod's available palette. There is no guaranteed way to force one exact colour on the first try, so getting a specific shade is a numbers game.

Rerolling until you get the colour you want

1. Pick a controlled spawn location, such as a flat Creative testing area or a contained room where you can safely manage Shulkers.

2. Spawn a Shulker using whatever spawn method your world allows.

3. Check its shell colour. If it is not the one you want, remove it and spawn another.

4. Repeat until the roll lands on your target colour.

5. Once you have the right colour, keep that Shulker alive and contained — for example, box it in with blocks or put it behind glass so it cannot teleport or attack.

Using coloured Shulkers in builds

Because the colour is fixed once spawned, a captured Shulker makes a stable decorative mob. Place several of the same colour together for a themed room, or mix colours deliberately by rerolling each one. Remember the Shulker will still shoot at players in range, so for pure decoration keep it sealed behind transparent blocks or in a spot players do not walk through.
