How to Change or Fix a Shulker's Colour After It Has Already Spawned
Why you can't repaint an existing Shulker
The mod assigns a random shell colour at the moment a Shulker spawns. That colour is baked into the entity when it is created, so there is no in-game item, dye, or command from this mod that repaints a Shulker that is already sitting in your world. If you are staring at a purple Shulker and want it to be red, you cannot simply click it with dye.
The practical workaround
1. Remove the existing Shulker. In Creative, break it or use /kill on it. In Survival, defeat it normally.
2. Make sure the area still meets Shulker spawning conditions — the mod only rolls a colour on newly spawned Shulkers, so a fresh spawn is required.
3. Trigger a new spawn. In an End City, this means letting the natural Shulker respawn logic run, or in Creative using a spawn egg if your setup allows it.
4. Watch the new Shulker appear. It will roll its own random colour independently of the one you removed.
What stays the same
Regardless of the shell colour you get, the Shulker behaves identically: same health, same projectile attack, same drops. The dropped Shulker Shell is always the default purpur shell, so you are not losing or gaining loot by rerolling for a colour you prefer. Treat colour as purely cosmetic and reroll freely if you are decorating a build.
