Troubleshoot Gyms Not Appearing or Working

Verify Command Block Settings

The most common issue is that command blocks are disabled. Check your world settings or server configuration and ensure command blocks are enabled. Without this, gym structures won't function properly and trainers won't interact with you.

Check Dimension and Biome Requirements

Some gyms only spawn in specific dimensions or biome types. If you can't find a gym, try exploring different biome types or dimensions. Cinnabar Gym requires the Nether, while Blackthorn Gym and the League building only appear in the End. Overworld gyms have specific biome preferences—try different terrain types.

Verify Data Pack Installation

Confirm the data pack is properly loaded in your world. Check your world's data pack folder and ensure the mod files are intact. If gyms still don't appear after enabling command blocks and exploring thoroughly, try creating a new world to test if the issue is world-specific.

If trainers exist but won't battle, re-enable command blocks and reload your world.
