Why aren't any gym buildings spawning in my world?
Command blocks must be enabled in your world settings or server properties for the data pack to function. If you're playing on an existing world, you may need to explore chunks you haven't visited yet, as structures only generate in newly loaded terrain.
Do I need Cobblemon installed for this to work?
Yes, this data pack is designed specifically for Radical Cobblemon and requires it to be installed. The gym leaders and their Pokémon battles won't function without the Cobblemon mod.
Can I find gym buildings in the Nether and End on old worlds?
Structures only generate in chunks that haven't been explored yet. If you want Nether and End gyms on an existing world, you'll need to travel to unexplored areas or use tools to reset those dimensions.
What do I do when I enter a gym building?
Look for the gym leader NPC inside the themed arena room and interact with them to initiate a Pokémon battle. Defeating them will award you the corresponding badge.
Where do I go to fight the Elite Four and Champion?
The Kanto League building spawns in the End dimension as a tall purple tower with a Pokéball icon. Travel to the End and locate this structure to access the final battles.
Are all eight Kanto gym leaders included?
Yes, all eight Kanto gym leaders are included: Brock, Misty, Lt. Surge, Erika, Koga, Sabrina, Blaine, and Claire, each in a themed arena matching their type specialty.
Why is Blaine's gym in the Nether?
Blaine is the Fire-type gym leader, so his arena is thematically placed in the Nether to match his type. Similarly, other gyms are positioned in environments that suit their leaders' specialties.
Can I use this data pack on a multiplayer server?
Yes, the data pack works on multiplayer servers as long as command blocks are enabled in the server properties. All players will see the same gym structures and can challenge the leaders.
Do gym buildings generate in specific biomes?
Gyms spawn in fitting environments—for example, Misty's Water gym appears along coastlines and beaches, while others generate in appropriate biomes across the Overworld, Nether, and End.
What happens if I defeat a gym leader—can I battle them again?
The data pack doesn't specify respawn mechanics, so check the structure or interact with the leader again to see if rematches are available or if you need to wait for a reset.
