Prepare for and Start a Gym Battle

Before You Enter

Make sure your Pokémon team is trained and ready. Gym leaders scale in difficulty, so earlier gyms (like Brock) are easier than later ones. Stock up on healing items and Poké Balls if you plan to catch Pokémon during your journey.

Ensure command blocks are enabled in your world or server settings—this is required for all arena features and trainer interactions to function properly.

Entering and Battling

Once you've located a gym building, walk inside the structure. You'll find the gym leader waiting in their themed arena room. The environment matches their type specialty—expect water features in Misty's gym, fire hazards in Blaine's, and so on.

Interact with the gym leader to initiate the battle. Your Pokémon will face their team in a standard Cobblemon battle. Defeat all their Pokémon to win and earn your badge. After victory, you can leave and seek out the next gym, or return later to challenge them again if the mod allows rematches.
