Make Your Armor Trims Glow Brighter at Night

Why Your Trims Might Look Dim

Even with Radiant Veneer installed, armor trims can appear less vibrant in very dark areas or deep caves. The glow effect is permanent, but surrounding darkness can make it harder to see. This guide helps you maximize visibility.

Steps to Enhance Glow Visibility

1. Position yourself in open areas — The glow works best when you're not surrounded by dark blocks. Move away from cave walls or enclosed spaces to see the full radiant effect.

2. Use lighter armor bases — Equip armor with lighter-colored bases (white, light gray, or golden). The contrast between the base color and glowing trim makes the effect more noticeable.

3. Combine with other light sources — Stand near torches, lanterns, or other light blocks. The glow effect stacks visually with ambient light, creating a brighter appearance.

4. Check your trim pattern — Some trim patterns have larger glowing surfaces than others. Experiment with different trims to find which ones appear brightest to you.

5. Adjust your graphics settings — If your game has brightness or contrast options, increasing these can make the glow more pronounced without changing the mod itself.
