Use Coordinates to Navigate and Catch Rare Spawns

Read the Chat Alert Correctly

When a rare Pokémon spawns, the Radiant Notification message displays coordinates in your chat. Note the X and Z values (and Y if provided). These tell you the exact block location of the spawn.

Navigate Using Coordinates

Open your map or use the coordinates to set a waypoint. If your modpack includes a minimap or navigation mod, input the coordinates there for guided navigation. Walk or use faster travel methods (like flying mounts) to reach the location quickly.

Prepare Before Arrival

While traveling, ensure your inventory has appropriate Poké Balls, healing items, and any status-condition cures. Check your team's levels and movesets to ensure you can handle the Pokémon when you arrive.

Locate and Engage

Once you reach the coordinates, look around for the spawned creature. It should be nearby—use the exact numbers to narrow down your search if needed. Engage the Pokémon and attempt to catch it before it despawns or flees.

Document Successful Catches

Keep a log of coordinates where you've found rare spawns. Certain biomes or terrain types may spawn rarer Pokémon more frequently, helping you plan future hunts.
