How do I turn on alerts when I first install the mod?

What's the difference between Shiny, Legendary, and Mythical alerts?
Shiny Pokémon are color variants of normal creatures and spawn more frequently. Legendary Pokémon are powerful, rare creatures that spawn occasionally. Mythical Pokémon are the rarest type and spawn very infrequently. You can enable or disable alerts for each category separately based on what you want to hunt.
Can I get alerts outside the game using Discord?
Yes, if you have Mc2Discord installed alongside this mod, you can configure Radiant Notification to send spawn alerts to a Discord channel. This lets you know about rare spawns even when you're not actively playing.
How do I use the coordinates the mod gives me to find the Pokémon?
When an alert appears in chat, it includes exact X, Y, and Z coordinates. Open your map or use F3 (or your debug screen) to see your current position, then navigate toward the coordinates shown in the alert. The mod removes the guesswork of searching empty terrain.
I'm getting too many alerts and it's spammy. How do I reduce them?
Go to your mod settings and adjust the notification filter—you can disable alerts for common Shiny spawns, increase the minimum rarity threshold, or set a cooldown period between alerts. You can also choose to only track Legendary and Mythical types if you want fewer, higher-value notifications.
Do alerts only show for creatures spawning right next to me?
The mod has a detection range that you can adjust in the settings. By default, it notifies you of rare spawns within a certain distance around your player. You can increase or decrease this range depending on how far away you want to be alerted about spawns.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
