Set Up Custom Hotkeys for Quick Stacking
Access Hotkey Settings
Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible from the main menu or pause screen, depending on your modloader). Look for Quick Stack Mod settings.
Assign Your Hotkeys
You'll find two hotkey bindings:
- Quick Stack All: Transfers all items from your inventory (except hotbar) into the nearest chest
- Quick Stack Matching: Transfers only items that already exist in the target chest
Click each binding and press your desired key combination. Popular choices are R for Quick Stack All and T for Quick Stack Matching, but use whatever feels natural for your playstyle.
Test Your Setup
Close the settings menu and stand near a chest. Press your assigned hotkey—you should see the nearest chest highlight and items transfer instantly. If nothing happens, check that:
- A chest exists within 6-7 blocks
- Your hotkey isn't conflicting with another mod or Minecraft's default bindings
- The mod is properly loaded (check your mod list)
Once confirmed, you can now sort items without opening your inventory at all.
