How do I use Quick Stack for the first time?
Open your inventory and look for two new buttons added by the mod—one for quick stacking all items and one for stacking matching items only. Click the first button to move items from your inventory into the nearest chest within range. If no chest is nearby, nothing will happen.
What's the difference between the two Quick Stack buttons?
The first button moves all items from your inventory (except hotbar items) into the nearest chest. The second button only transfers items that already exist in that chest, leaving everything else behind.
How far away can a chest be for Quick Stack to work?
The chest must be within 6-7 blocks of your character. If you're further away, the mod won't detect it and nothing will transfer.
Can I use Quick Stack without opening my inventory?
Yes—set up custom hotkeys in the mod settings so you can quick stack with a keyboard shortcut while playing normally, without opening the inventory screen.
Why won't Quick Stack work even though there's a chest nearby?
Check that the chest is within 6-7 blocks and not blocked by walls or obstacles. Also verify the mod is installed correctly and the chest isn't full; if the destination chest has no room, items won't transfer.
Can I stop certain items from being quick stacked?
Yes—the mod has a blacklist or exclusion feature that lets you mark specific items so they stay in your inventory and never get transferred to chests automatically.
Does Quick Stack work with double chests?
Yes, double chests are treated as a single container and will receive items normally when you quick stack.
What happens to my hotbar items when I quick stack?
Hotbar items are never transferred—only items in your main inventory get moved to the chest, so your tools and frequently used items stay with you.
Can I quick stack into multiple chests at once?
No, Quick Stack only targets the single nearest chest within range. To organize items across multiple chests, you'll need to move closer to each chest and quick stack separately, or use the matching-items button to distribute similar stacks.
Does Quick Stack cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is lightweight and shouldn't cause noticeable lag, but if you're quick stacking massive amounts of items repeatedly, you might see a brief pause as the transfer processes.
