Quick Cure Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I cure a zombie villager with this mod?
Give the zombie villager a golden apple and a potion of weakness (splash or lingering). The mod makes the curing process instant instead of waiting several minutes—the zombie villager will transform immediately once both items have been applied.
Do I still need to use a splash potion of weakness or can I use lingering?
Both splash and lingering potions of weakness work with this mod. Use whichever is more convenient for your setup.
Can I cure multiple zombie villagers at once?
Yes, you can cure as many zombie villagers as you have golden apples and potions of weakness for. The mod doesn't limit how many you can cure simultaneously.
What if the zombie villager isn't curing even with the golden apple and potion?
Make sure the zombie villager is actually in a valid state to be cured (not a drowned zombie or other variant). Also verify that both the golden apple and potion of weakness have been applied—sometimes the potion effect needs a moment to register before applying the apple.
Does this mod work with custom villager professions or just regular ones?
The mod cures any zombie villager regardless of profession. The cured villager will retain or revert to its original profession based on standard Minecraft mechanics.
Is there a way to speed up curing even more than instant?
No—instant curing is the fastest the mod can make it. The transformation happens immediately upon meeting the conditions.
Does this mod affect performance or cause lag?
Quick Cure Mod is designed to be lightweight and should not noticeably impact performance, even when curing many villagers at once.
Will this mod work with other mods that change villager mechanics?
The mod should be compatible with most villager-related mods, but conflicts can occur if another mod also modifies the curing process. Test your mod combination if you experience issues.
Can I cure zombie villagers in Creative mode?
Yes, the mod works in both Survival and Creative modes.
What happens to the zombie villager's trades after it's cured?
The cured villager will have the same trades it would have in vanilla Minecraft—this mod only changes the curing speed, not the villager's profession or trading behavior.
