How to Get and Use the Backpack from Quark Oddities

The backpack in Quark Oddities expands your inventory without taking up a hotbar slot. It is obtained through a rare drop, not crafting.

Getting the Hide

Kill a Ravager. Ravagers are the large illager beasts that spawn during raids or in woodland mansions. When killed, they have a chance to drop a special hide item. This drop is rare, so you may need to defeat several Ravagers before one drops. Once you have the hide, you can use it to craft or obtain the backpack. The exact recipe involves the hide combined with other materials, but the key step is getting the hide first.

Using the Backpack

Once you have the backpack, equip it or place it in your inventory as instructed by the item. It adds extra storage slots that you can access alongside your normal inventory. You can store items in it just like a chest, and they persist when you close the interface. The backpack is useful for carrying tools, food, or loot during long expeditions.

Tips

Raid farms are the most reliable way to farm Ravagers. Build a raid farm or join raids in a village to get multiple Ravager kills. The hide is not guaranteed every time, so patience is key. The backpack does not replace your normal inventory, it adds to it, so you can carry more without dropping items.
