How to Reload and Manage Ammo in Quality Armory

Understanding Ammo Items

Every gun in Quality Armory uses a specific ammo or magazine item. You cannot fire a weapon without the correct ammo in your inventory. When you pick up a gun, check its lore text — it usually tells you which ammo type it consumes. Different guns use different calibers, so an AK-47 magazine will not fit a pistol.

Ammo is obtained the same way as guns: through crafting or the give command. On survival servers you may need to craft bullets from iron, gunpowder, and other materials defined by the server's config.

Reloading in Combat

To reload, hold the gun and press the reload key (commonly bound to a specific keyboard key by the plugin) or right-click while sneaking, depending on server configuration. The gun will pull one magazine or the required number of bullets from your inventory and refill its internal magazine.

If reloading does nothing, you are either out of ammo or the gun is already full. Watch the action bar or hotbar — Quality Armory displays remaining shots there. Keep spare magazines in your hotbar so you can swap quickly instead of opening your inventory mid-fight. Dropping a gun on the ground does not delete its ammo, but the magazine stays inside it, so pick your weapons back up.
