Fixing Quality Armory Resource Pack and Texture Problems

Why Guns Look Like Vanilla Items

Quality Armory loads its 3D models onto select vanilla items and data values so the base game is unaffected. If you see a plain stick, carrot, or other vanilla item instead of a gun model, your client has not received or applied the plugin's resource pack. This is the most common issue players report.

First, make sure you accepted the server resource pack when joining. If you clicked "No" or your client is set to refuse server packs, the models will not appear. Check your client's server-resource-pack setting and rejoin.

Forcing the Pack to Update

If you already accepted the pack but still see vanilla textures, the pack may be cached or outdated. Disconnect and reconnect so the server can push the current pack again. On some clients you may need to clear the server resource pack cache folder, then rejoin.

If only some guns look wrong, the pack likely failed to download fully — a slow or interrupted download leaves partial textures. Reconnecting usually fixes this. If guns still look like vanilla items after a clean rejoin, the issue is server-side: the resource pack distributor may be disabled or misconfigured, so report it to your admin rather than changing your own settings.
