Make Your Voice Echo in Caves
Understanding Echo Mechanics
The mod automatically creates realistic echoes when you speak inside enclosed spaces like caves, ravines, or large underground rooms. Your voice bounces off stone, deepslate, and other solid blocks around you. The larger and more enclosed the space, the more pronounced the echo effect.
How to Test Echo Effects
1. Find or create a deep cave system or underground chamber
2. Activate your push-to-talk key (configured in Plasmo Voice settings)
3. Speak into your microphone—other players will hear your voice with natural reverb
4. Move to different cave sizes and shapes to hear how the environment changes the audio
5. Try speaking from the center of a large cavern versus a narrow tunnel to compare echo intensity
Optimizing Your Echo Experience
The mod uses the Sound Physics Remastered system, which means block materials matter. Dense stone creates different acoustics than gravel or sand. If echoes seem too subtle or too loud, check your proximity volume slider in the Plasmo Voice settings menu. You can also adjust how far your voice travels before the mod applies physics effects.
