Pumpkillager’s Quest Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start the Pumpkillager quest?
Break pumpkins until a Pumpkillager spawns — each pumpkin has a chance to trigger an encounter. Plant pumpkin seeds and harvest them repeatedly to keep rolling for that spawn.
Do I need to craft anything to summon the Pumpkillager?
No. The encounter is triggered by breaking pumpkins, not by crafting or placing a special item. Just harvest pumpkins normally and wait for the spawn.
How rare is the Pumpkillager spawn?
It's a low chance per pumpkin broken, so expect to break a fair number before one appears. If you're unlucky, keep farming pumpkins rather than assuming it's broken.
Why isn't the Pumpkillager spawning when I break pumpkins?
Make sure you're breaking naturally grown or player-planted pumpkins, not carved jack o'lanterns. Also confirm the mod is actually loaded and that you're in the world where you installed it.
Can I break the same pumpkin repeatedly to farm the spawn?
No — once a pumpkin is broken it's gone, so you need a renewable supply. Set up a pumpkin farm so you always have fresh pumpkins to break.
What do I do after the Pumpkillager spawns?
Follow the questline that begins with that encounter — the mod guides you through a series of steps leading to the final boss. Don't skip ahead; progress the quest in order.
How do I reach the final boss in this mod?
You have to complete the full questline, which starts with the first Pumpkillager encounter and advances through subsequent stages. Each stage unlocks the next until the final boss becomes available.
What rewards do I get from the quest?
The questline gives you rewards as you progress, and those rewards stay with you even if you remove the mod afterward. Keep them in your inventory or storage before uninstalling.
Can I remove the mod after finishing the quest and keep my stuff?
Yes — the mod is designed so it can be removed after the quest, and you keep and can still use all rewards you earned. Just make sure you've actually completed the questline first.
Does this mod work with other mods and does it hurt performance?
It reuses vanilla assets and event callbacks rather than adding heavy new content, so it's generally lightweight and compatible with most setups. If you see conflicts, check whether another mod also changes pumpkin breaking or entity spawning.
