Installing Offensive Gear

The Chestplate slot accommodates several combat-focused attachments. Install the Tracking Missile Backpack for lock-on capability against distant targets, or equip the Rocket Shotgun Launcher for close-range explosive damage. Each weapon has distinct range, damage, and cooldown characteristics.

Wielding the Engineer Chainsword

Craft and equip the Engineer Chainsword as your melee weapon. This tool serves dual purposes: it cuts through enemies efficiently and can chop wood like an axe. Block incoming attacks using the Engineer Shield for damage mitigation during intense encounters.

Defensive Layering

Pair offensive attachments with the Active Protection System installed on your Chestplate. This system automatically destroys incoming projectiles and threats, providing passive defense while you focus on attacking. Combine this with protective plates for additional damage reduction. Layer your defensive options—don't rely solely on active protection, as it has cooldown limitations. Use the Engineer Shield actively while your automatic systems recharge.
