Pro Placer Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I turn on the fast block placement?
The mod works automatically once installed — there's nothing to enable. Just hold down your place button and blocks will be placed continuously without the vanilla delay.
Why does it feel like I'm placing blocks too fast now?
How do I place blocks in the air like Bedrock Edition?
Aim at the air block where you want the new block to go and click — the mod places it in the direction you're facing. This works best in creative mode and when building roofs where there's no adjacent surface to click.
How do I stop placing blocks on the wrong side of a block?
Keep holding the place button while you move — the mod locks the placement direction to the face you first clicked. Release and re-click to change which face you're building against.
Why am I getting double placements or gaps in my wall?
Double placements usually come from releasing and re-clicking too quickly, which resets the locked direction. Hold the button steadily and drag across the surface instead of tapping repeatedly.
Does this mod work in survival mode or only creative?
It works in both, but the air-block placement feature is most useful in creative mode where you have unlimited blocks. In survival, the delay removal and direction lock still apply normally.
How do I build a flat roof quickly with this mod?
Stand at the edge, aim at the air blocks where the roof should go, and hold the place button while sweeping your view across the area. The direction lock keeps each row aligned so you don't accidentally build downward.
Can I still place blocks one at a time if I want to?
Yes — just tap the place button instead of holding it. A single click places a single block, and the direction lock only matters when you're holding and dragging.
Does Pro Placer conflict with other building or placement mods?
It can conflict with mods that also change placement timing or direction, since both may try to control the same behavior. If placement feels erratic, test with only Pro Placer enabled to isolate the issue.
Will this mod hurt my FPS or cause lag on big builds?
The mod only changes how placement input is handled, so it shouldn't affect framerate. Lag during large builds is usually from the world itself rendering many blocks, not from Pro Placer.
