How Container Protection Works

The mod automatically preserves chests, barrels, shulker boxes, and other container blocks during explosions. Every item stored inside—including enchanted tools, valuable resources, and stacks—is kept safe and restored with the block.

What Gets Saved

When a container is caught in an explosion:

• The container block itself is reconstructed in its original location
• All inventory contents remain intact
• Item NBT data (enchantments, custom names, durability) is preserved
• Multi-block containers like double chests rebuild correctly

Verify Protection in Your World

Place valuable items in chests near areas where creepers or other mobs might explode. When an explosion occurs, watch the restoration process—your chests will fly into the air as debris and settle back down with everything inside untouched.

This protection works across all restoration modes (HEAL, EJECT_DROPS, and VISUAL_TOSS), making containers one of the safest places to store items in explosive situations.
