Mine Blocks from Other Mods Automatically
How Mod Compatibility Works
Prismatic Ore Excavation recognizes blocks from other mods through standard Minecraft block tags. If another mod's ore, stone, or wood blocks are tagged correctly, the mod will treat them like vanilla ores and trees.
Identify Compatible Blocks
Look for ore blocks and stone variants from installed mods. If they follow Minecraft's tagging system, they'll work with vein mining automatically — no configuration needed. Aim at the block, activate the mod, and the outline box will show connected blocks ready to break.
Blocks That Work Out of the Box
Most modded ores, deepslate variants, and custom stone types are recognized immediately. Modded wood and logs typically work for tree mining too. If a block isn't recognized, it may use non-standard tags.
Check Your Config
If you want to manually add or exclude specific blocks, your mod config allows custom block list adjustments. This ensures compatibility with unusual mods or lets you disable vein mining for specific blocks you want to mine normally.
