Prism Flight Geometry Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I turn on the flight display?
Press J to open or close the instrument display. If you want to customize which panels appear, press H to open the theme menu or use /vectorhud to toggle specific HUD elements.
What do the numbers and gauges mean on the flight instruments?
The display shows your ground speed, altitude, climb rate, heading direction, and glide ratio during elytra flight. The artificial horizon helps you see your pitch angle relative to the ground, and the altitude tape on the side tracks your height in real time.
Can I use this mod in multiplayer or on servers?
Yes, the mod works in multiplayer, but check your server's rules first—some servers may restrict HUD mods. The mod ships with unfair features like ore scanning and wall-piercing vision turned off by default to keep gameplay fair.
How do I switch between different visual themes?
Press H to open the theme menu and select from ten distinct themes like Apex, Ghost, Raptor, and Minimal. Your choice is saved automatically in the config file.
What is battle mode and when does it activate?
Battle mode automatically switches on when multiple hostile mobs attack or approach you, highlighting threats with targeting reticles and warning markers. You can also toggle it manually by pressing B.
How do I see enemies through walls or obstacles?
The 3D holographic map reveals nearby hostiles and terrain even when they're out of direct sight. Wall-piercing vision is disabled by default for fair play, but you can enable it in the config file if you're playing solo.
What does the scope view do and how do I use it?
Press C to enter scope view for precision navigation and targeting. This zoomed perspective helps you spot distant threats and navigate complex terrain more accurately.
Why is my frame rate dropping with this mod enabled?
The vector-drawn display is optimized for performance, but rendering complex terrain projections and multiple HUD panels can impact FPS on lower-end systems. Try disabling the 3D map or reducing the number of active panels in config/vectorhud.json.
Can I rebind the J, H, C, and B keys?
Yes, open your standard Controls options menu and search for the Prism Flight Geometry keybinds to rebind any of the four shortcut keys to your preference.
What do the red warning markers mean in combat?
Red markers warn you about incoming arrows, nearby creepers, critical health status, and attack directions from hostile mobs. The display also shows target health and your active status effects so you can react quickly during fights.
