Enhance Shadows and Block Lighting During Different Times of Day

Locate Shadow Settings

Open the shader configuration menu and find shadow-related options. Look for "Shadow Distance," "Shadow Quality," or "Shadow Softness" sliders that control how far shadows render and how sharp they appear.

Adjust Shadow Intensity

Increase shadow distance to cast shadows from objects further away. Increase shadow quality for sharper, more defined shadows on blocks and terrain. Reduce softness if you want crisp shadow edges, or increase it for softer, more realistic transitions.

Customize Time-of-Day Lighting

Principal adjusts lighting based on sun position. Look for "Sunrise/Sunset Brightness" or "Time of Day Lighting" options. These control how warm and intense light becomes during dawn and dusk.

Manage Light Rays and Atmosphere

Find "God Rays," "Volumetric Light," or "Crepuscular Rays" settings. These create visible light beams through the air, especially noticeable during sunrise, sunset, and storms. Adjust intensity to make them more or less prominent.
