Adjust Cloud Density and Movement Speed

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the default key (usually Shift + O or through your video settings). Navigate to the Principal Shaders section to find cloud-related parameters.

Configure Cloud Appearance

Look for settings labeled "Cloud Density," "Cloud Coverage," or "Volumetric Cloud Quality." Increasing these values makes clouds thicker and more opaque, while decreasing them creates thinner, more transparent clouds that let more sky show through.

Control Cloud Movement

Find the "Cloud Speed" or "Wind Speed" slider. Higher values make clouds drift across the sky faster, creating more dynamic movement. Lower values produce slower, more subtle cloud drift that feels calmer.

Fine-Tune for Performance

If clouds cause lag, reduce cloud quality or density first—this has the biggest performance impact. You can also lower the render distance of volumetric effects without removing clouds entirely.

Apply and Test

After adjusting settings, apply changes and fly around your world to see how clouds look at different times of day and from different angles. Clouds should feel natural to your preferred aesthetic.
