Unlock and Ride Your First Mount Pokémon

Which Pokémon Can Be Ridden

Not all Pokémon in Primal Horizon Shifters are rideable. The main mount options are Citrisaurid (flying), Slacho (land), Mortaraid (land and water), Ostrike (flat terrain and mesas), and Fimbulven (flying, supports two riders). Each mount has specific terrain advantages.

Mounting Your Pokémon

Once you've caught and leveled a rideable Pokémon, approach it and interact with it while holding Shift (or your mod's designated key). You should see a mounting prompt. Successfully mount your Pokémon to begin riding.

Terrain and Movement Tips

Citrisaurid excels in open skies and can reach high altitudes. Slacho provides fast ground travel across plains. Mortaraid is essential for crossing oceans and deep water. Ostrike specializes in desert and mesa biomes with electric-speed movement. Fimbulven is ideal for cold taiga regions and can carry a passenger.

Different mounts move at varying speeds depending on terrain type, so choose your mount based on your destination.
